Our annual open night for parents of prospective students will be held this year on Tuesday evening 26th January. Daily school life and extracurricular activities will be on show to give parents an idea as to how our school operates. The enrollment will take place on Thursday 28th January.

Next Wednesdays (20th Jan) Parent Teacher Meeting has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled. This is because the term was starting back late due to adverse weather.

We have just uploaded our new admissions policy and enrollment application form for parents who wish to put their child's name down for admission. It can be found in the downloads section on the left. Please print it out and post the form to the main office or drop it in personally.

Jason Cross collecting his awardMany congratulations to ex-pupil Jason Cross who has been named National Young Engineer of the Year recently in Limerick.

Two of our students from our Leaving Cert. class of 2009, Jason Cross and Eugene Morgan, were selected as two of the 24 most outstanding engineering projects in the Leaving certificate. Facing stiff competition, Jason won the coveted award.

 Congratulations to both Jason and Eugene and also to their Engineering department, Mr Creegan and Mr Ashe for all their dedicated hard work.

Another fantastic year for our Conor Mc Cormack road race. Excellent weather set us up nicely for the two mile run around Rathangan.

Aaron Bannon Whelan

All students and staff bust a gut to get around but first across the line was Aaron Bannon Whelan for the boys and Shannon Whelan for the girls.

Conor Mc Cormack was a much loved student in our school and we run this race every year in his memory. Between staff and students, €1530 was raised for the Irish Heart Foundation. Photos of the race are available in the photo section of this site.

Well done to all who participated and many thanks to Mr Rice and Mr Creegan for organising it !
